Sustainable development has become a global priority due to climate change, environmental harm, resource depletion, and socio-economic inequalities. New technologies are changing how we tackle these issues by improving efficiency, promoting renewable energy, optimizing resource use, and improving environmental monitoring. This paper examines key technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, renewable energy technologies, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and smart infrastructure. It looks at their contributions to sustainable development and discusses real-world applications in areas like energy, agriculture, transportation, water management, and urban development. The paper also outlines current challenges, reviews findings from global practices, and offers recommendations for integrating technology-driven sustainability into policies and practices. The study concludes that while new technologies are crucial for reaching sustainability goals, their effectiveness relies on ethical governance, equitable access, and collaboration across disciplines.
