Abstract

Adoption of sustainable innovation as a major force behind development is essential to India's goal of achieving a "Viksit Bharat" (Developed India). Within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, this paper offers a strategic roadmap for integrating responsible environmental behaviour, equitable development models, and innovative technologies to achieve a sustainable future. To address the urgent issues of climate change, resource depletion, and socioeconomic inequality, the emphasis is on utilizing sustainable innovations in fields including digital transformation, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and the circular economy. The study emphasizes how crucial it is to promote cooperation between local communities, business, and the government in order to develop scalable solutions that are both economically and environmentally sound. By giving sustainability top priority in all areas—energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and urban planning—India can accomplish its development objectives and serve as a model for other countries. In order to ensure a successful and sustainable future for future generations, this paper contends that promoting a Viksit Bharat necessitates a comprehensive strategy that integrates technology growth with social fairness and environmental care. With the help of this strategic plan, India can become a pioneer in sustainable innovation and take the lead in international initiatives to create a sustainable future.
