Human health in the present time is shaped by a combination of advancements in medical science, lifestyle changes and evolving environmental factors. Today, health is viewed holistically, encompassing physical, mental and social well being rather than just the absence of disease. In the modern world, where stress, anxiety, and sedentary lifestyles are prevalent, there is an increasing focus on mental health, with more awareness of conditions like anxiety, depression and other disorders, as well as the importance of work-life balance and emotional well being. The need, nowadays, for practices that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being is greater than ever. Yoga and meditation, two ancient practices that have transcended cultural boundaries, offer profound benefits to human health. These practices, rooted in the philosophies of Eastern traditions, focus not only on physical fitness but also on mental clarity and emotional stability. Together, they form a holistic approach to achieving optimal health and well-being.
