Abstract

The species  Saletata liberia (Cramer, 1779), a scheduled species is distributed in Andaman and Nicobar islands. Previously this species was treated under the genus Appias Hunber. The present studies deals with its taxonomy including the details of its male which has been described and illustrated, and difference from genus Appias on basis of male genitalia have been discussed.
